The GREEN Initiative, along with the Northeast Johnson County Chamber of Commerce (NEJC Chamber), invited leaders and officers of various Community Environmental and/or Sustainability Committees to a ‘first-ever’ Municipal Green Committees Meeting.

 

The meeting was held on Thursday June 19, 2008, at 7:00 p.m at the the Sylvester Powell Community Center, in Mission, Kansas, as an opportunity for leaders of community environmental committees to get together to share programs, ideas, and learn from one another – to share experiences – and promote “living green”.

This will be an opportunity to learn what we can do together.

 

Persons interested are encouraged to let us know of their planned attendance and provide contact information for future contact. We are also encouraging community environmental committees to invite others they feel need to be there.
